Bee Nest Removal Specialist
Pride Pest Control provide honey bee removal throughout the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas.
A single beehive may contain as many as 50,000 individuals. In winter, the hive goes into survival mode: the drones are expelled, the workers huddle together to keep warm, and the larvae are fed on stores of pollen and honey.
In spring, a new generation of bees emerges. Bees actually have 4 wings each side to hook together to make one larger pair when flying and unhook when they are not flying.
How Pride Pest Control Can Help:
- We remove and rehome honeybees
- We are committed to ensuring the health and welfare of the bees throughout the removal process
- Working with local beekeepers, we remove, rehome, and relocate honeybee colonies in a safe and ethical manner
- The safe removal of honeybees requires a range of specialist skills in addition to managing, removing, and rehoming the bees themselves
- We are experienced, trained and insured to gain access to awkward locations (including work at height) and to carry out any minor building works that may be required
- We carryout thermal imaging to pinpoint the exact location of the bee colonies
How To Identify:
The familiar black-and-gold honeybee is almost unmistakeable. There are several species of hoverfly that look similar, but they have much larger eyes.
